The Allplan Development team is currently looking for a skilled C++ software developer to join us. You will have the possibility to develop the world known software for structural and civil engineers. You will be part of experienced and friendly team where you can apply your knowledge, enthusiasm for programming and craftsmanship.

Your main task will be:

• New development based on client needs and market, maintenance of the existing product

• Work according to agile development principles, SCRUM methodology

• Architecture design of new modules, cooperation on its proposal

• Close cooperation with analysts, testers and customer support

• Adjustments and changes in application, refactoring

• Participation in knowledge sharing and continuous improvements

• Monitoring IT trends, innovation and new technologies

Your experience and technical know-how:

• Solid experience in programming and developing algorithms for engineering tasks

• Advanced proficiency in C++ and strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles

• Good knowledge of the Standard Template Library (STL)

• Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio is welcome

• Familiarity with Git is an advantage

Top skills:

• Strong analytical skills, creative thinking and problem solving

• Fluency in spoken and written English

• Team player

Education:

University degree or equivalent experience
