YOUR ROLE
The Allplan Development team is currently looking for a skilled C++ software developer to join us. You will have the possibility to develop the world known software for civil engineers. You will be part of experienced and friendly team where you can apply your knowledge, enthusiasm for programming and craftsmanship.
YOUR MAIN TASKS WILL BE
- Develop and improve software that meets the highest industry standards in an agile environment.
- Suggest, prototype and implement appropriate solutions for the given requirements..
- Ensure that recent industry standards, best practices and innovations are considered.
- Decide on software architecture, integrate new technologies, peer review code of other developers, coach junior developers.
- Develop new features as well as maintain legacy code and solve reported bugs.
- Cover the development by automated tests.
- Work closely with your colleagues and keep them up to date by sharing knowledge inside the team and among other teams
YOUR EXPERIENCE AND TECHNICAL KNOW-HOW
- Successfully completed university studies (computer science) or a comparable education or equivalent experience.
- 1-2 years praxis would be appreciated
- Fluent English (written and spoken).
- Advanced skills and excessive experience in software development with C++ using OOP principles.
- Solid experience in programming and developing algorithms for engineering tasks
- Independent, careful and structured way of working together with a hands-on mindset.
- Advanced knowledge of analytical geometry, 3D graphics and related computational tasks is a strong advantage
