Frontend Developer (React / React Native app developer)

We are looking for an experienced frontend developer (React and React Native) to develop and maintain high-performance, responsive, and user-centric frontend interfaces for Neco’s web and mobile applications. Neco, the cryptocurrency for people, planet and profit. In your role as a frontend developer for our impact-driven startup, you will be responsible for the development and testing of the Neco app (web and mobile apps for iOS and Android). The Neco app is our web and mobile banking app for payment in the Neco cryptocurrency and integrates with Stackchain, our carbon-neutral Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT).

• Writing efficient, secure, and testable code for both web and mobile platforms.
• Conducting thorough testing and debugging to identify and resolve issues, ensuring a stable and error-free application.
• Documenting the code and software components for maintainability and collaboration.
• Optimizing application performance by leveraging React’s virtual DOM, implementing efficient rendering techniques, and minimizing resource consumption.
• Implementing security best practices to protect the web and mobile frontend.
• Collaborating with UI/UX designers, backend developers, and product managers to create intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces that align with Neco’s brand and mission.
• Building reusable and modular components that promote code efficiency, maintainability, and consistency across the application.
• Integrating frontend components with backend APIs, ensuring seamless data flow and a smooth user experience.
• Implementing responsive designs that adapt to various screen sizes and devices, providing an optimal experience for users on both web and mobile platforms.
• Staying up-to-date with the latest trends, techniques, and best practices in React and React Native development, and proposing improvements to enhance the application’s architecture. Tasks

• Developing and maintaining the frontend of Neco’s web and mobile applications using React and React Native, ensuring high performance, responsiveness, and user engagement.

Requirements

• 5 years or more experience with react native
• Experience in IOS and Android mobile app development
• Experience in web development
• Testing of web and mobile app knowledge and experience
• Backgrounds in fintech or cryptocurrency is an advantage.
• Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English (verbal and written)
• Ability to work independently and manage your own time, while collaborating effectively with a remote team
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies (Scrum) and project management tools
• Minimum capacity of 30 hours per week
