We are looking for an experienced Blockchain / Back End Developer (Rust). An experienced Rust Developer with deep knowledge of microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and MongoDB Atlas and cloud platforms to build our Stackchain crypto platform. Imagine Stackchain as the “Blockchain 2.0” - a faster, more efficient and more secure version of Blockchain technology. Our vision is to build a powerful crypto platform for decentralization and tokenization. Stackchain is the Distributed Ledger Technology powering Neco, the cryptocurrency for people, planet and profit.

  • Deploying and upgrading the software
  • Documenting the code and the software components

  • Developing and maintaining the backend services of Stackchain, ensuring high performance, security, and scalability.

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including frontend developers, UI/UX designers, product managers, and DevOps team, to design and implement efficient and reliable backend services.
  • Optimizing application performance by identifying and resolving bottlenecks, implementing caching strategies, and writing efficient code.
  • Implementing robust security measures within the application code to protect sensitive user data and financial transactions, following industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Designing and implementing the application’s microservices architecture, ensuring seamless integration and communication between services.
  • Participating in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring code quality across the development team.
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in Rust, Actix, and other relevant technologies, and proposing improvements to the application’s backend codebase. Tasks

Requirements

  • 5 or more years of professional experience in backend development, with at least 2 years of hands-on experience in Rust programming
  • Strong proficiency in Rust, with a deep understanding of its ownership model, type system, and concurrency features
  • Experience with Actix web framework and its actor model for building scalable and concurrent web services
  • Solid understanding of microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and MongoDB Atlas
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Knowledge of security best practices and experience implementing secure coding techniques to protect against common vulnerabilities (e.g., OWASP Top 10)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex issues in a fast-paced environment
