  • Strategic Support: Collaborate with the Principal Data Engineer to develop long-term strategies for data architecture, storage solutions, and infrastructure that support scalable, reliable data systems.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the bridge between the data engineering team and business stakeholders, ensuring data projects align with business objectives and user needs. Communicate project status, risks, and successes to senior leadership and other key stakeholders.
  • Innovation & Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date with emerging technologies and trends in data engineering. Evaluate new tools, frameworks, and approaches that can drive improvements in the data pipeline and engineering processes.

  • Data Pipeline Experience: Experience building and maintaining end-to-end data pipelines and data infrastructure. Familiarity with ETL frameworks, data warehousing, and data lakes is highly desirable.
  • Collaboration Skills: Ability to work cross-functionally with product teams, data scientists, DevOps, and business leaders. Strong communicator, able to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Agile & Process Management: Experience with Agile development methodologies, including sprint planning, project tracking, and prioritization. Comfortable using project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello).
  • Data Governance & Security: Familiarity with data governance principles and best practices, including data quality, data lineage, and security standards.
