Senior DevOps Engineer

Role Overview:

We have a ton of interesting problems to solve around scaling web applications, linking messy heterogeneous data sets, machine learning, NLP, distributed systems, data pipelines, data analytics and predictions, system reliability, security, privacy, and more.

We are seeking a talented Senior DevOps Engineer with experience in managing AWS cloud infrastructure and expertise in Terraform to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully deploying and maintaining cloud-based solutions. Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure using Terraform
• Work with multiple teams and leaders to understand requirements for new infrastructure and provide solutions that meet their needs
• Monitor and maintain our infrastructure to ensure uptime, performance, and security
• Teach teams how to maintain their own infrastructure
• Develop and maintain best practices for cloud infrastructure management
• Ensure systems compliance with SOC2 and HiTrust specifications
• Monitor vulnerabilities and implement measures to address potential security threats
• Collaborate with other team members to maintain and improve the stability and scalability of our systems

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience managing AWS cloud infrastructure
• Extensive experience with Terraform
• Proven ability to work with multiple teams and leaders to understand requirements and provide solutions
• Deep understanding of security best practices and compliance adherence
• Experience with vulnerability monitoring and remediation
• Experience in getting systems compliant with SOC2 and HiTrust specifications
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

The salary range for New York based candidates for this role is $130,000 - $175,000. We use a location factor to adjust this range for candidates that are located outside of geographic region of our New York office. Placement within the salary band is determined based on experience.
