Description

The Senior Planning Engineer at Nawy Real Estate plays a pivotal role in leading and managing the planning and scheduling of construction projects. This position requires a deep understanding of project management principles, providing expertise in developing and implementing project plans that align with the company's strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using appropriate project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
• Lead the planning team in identifying project scopes, tasks, timelines, resource allocation, and budgets.
• Analyze project schedules for optimization, implement changes as necessary, and ensure adherence to project deadlines.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure all planning activities align with project objectives.
• Prepare regular progress reports, highlighting key issues, risks, and mitigation strategies.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop contingency plans to address potential delays and challenges.
• Facilitate project meetings to discuss schedule-related issues and maintain open lines of communication across teams.
• Mentor and support junior planning engineers in their professional development and project planning techniques.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, standards, and procedures in all planning activities.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of planning processes and methodologies.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in planning engineering within the construction or real estate sectors.
• Proficient in project management software (Primavera P6, MS Project) and advanced Excel skills.
• Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities.
• Knowledge of current construction trends, technologies, and best practices.
