Position Summary:

As our Senior Service Desk Engineer, you will use IT resources to solve business needs with technology solutions and work with end-users and other team members to troubleshoot, investigate, and resolve issues with computer hardware and software. You will also assist the Server Engineering team with internal server environment projects. Additionally, you will ensure the operations and maintenance of NAVEX physical facilities including coordinating moves/adds/changes to office and cubicle configurations and serve as a point of contact between NAVEX, third-party vendors and landlords. Your role will require other duties associated with NAVEX facilities operations.

What you’ll do:

  • Build, deliver, set up and support. Install virus protection and enable automatic updates

  • Create and install software packages and workstation images

  • Support Microsoft, Adobe, and other vendor software products

  • Manage group policies and Active Directory

  • Resolve end-user problems with programs, hardware and network connectivity

  • Support field personnel with access and company-issued hardware; ship items to new hires and recover items from departing personnel

  • Document weekly status reports, incident reports / logs, etc.

  • Create and update desktop management procedures and policies

  • Manage special projects and other company efforts

  • Participate in applicable meetings, seminars and training sessions

  • Manage Facilities requests ticket queue for the Bangalore site

  • Maintain site map for seating arrangements, coordinating with managers for new hires and internal employee moves

  • Manage vendor relationships for building services

What you’ll need:

  • 5+ years technical support or IT related work experience in an enterprise environment

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and customer service skills to resolve customer issues quickly

  • Effective prioritization and project management skills with a demonstrated adherence to change control processes

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft technologies in the enterprise, including Microsoft 365

  • Experience with configuring and administering Active Directory, creating / deploying packages and Images in a multi-site environment, PowerShell, Microsoft Security Patching, general and applied IP network, router, switch, and firewall knowledge, physical cabling, understanding of network concepts and operations.  Microsoft Hyper-V, VMWare products a plus

  • Ability to drive results through your job competencies of effective communication, service-oriented problem solving and technical aptitude  

  • Ability to drive results through NAVEX core competencies of accountability, customer focus, drives results and instills trust
