Responsibilities:
Oversee the planning of strategic technology projects and programs for the Legal, Risk and Regulatory (LRR) org, building relationships with other members of LRR Leadership Team and the General Counsel to ensure success and stakeholder satisfaction
Partner with Sr. Management team to understand the business goals and define the strategic technology vision
Manage strategic technology activities and operations for the Legal, Risk and Regulatory (LRR) org in line with SDLC process, including requirement specifications, UAT testing, vendor SLA oversight and feedback
Keep abreast of emerging technologies, including AI, to ensure that LRR maintains a best-in-class suite of technology solutions
Partner with LRR senior management to define and execute the department’s AI strategy
Set and execute LRR Tech roadmap
Manage global implementation and upgrades of integrated LRR systems (both inter-and cross-divisionally)
Provide RAG status updates for relevant LRR technology initiatives and work with relevant teams, including global and divisional technology teams and cross-divisional stakeholders, to ensure LRR Tech projects are on track
Lead a technology team responsible for LRR organization initiatives (approx. 8+ employees)
Promote continued development of program management capabilities
Manage vendors and resource allocations
Responsible for overseeing LRR technology budget for technology investment, projects and programs
Technology Systems Responsibilities:
Oversee the suite of LRR Technology systems, including but not limited to the following:
Exact (Nasdaq internal system) changes and enhancements including compliance program changes and enhancements and oversight of Morningstar filing and financials feed
Listing Center (US and Nordics) including automated forms and FAQs reviews and updates
Rules Tracking System
AI tools used by Lawyers, Legal and Risk professionals in negotiating legal contracts
Experience Required:
Minimum of 10 years of experience
Experience with technology systems and tech program management required
Nice to haves:
Experience with work flow management systems a plus
Understanding of the financial services industry and regulatory environments is a plus
Project Management Professional (PMP) License
