We are looking for a Research Engineer who will be mainly responsible for C/C++/C# software programming on a x64 platform in windows operating system and is required to work on software design / coding / testing / documentation for a demonstrator development.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for C/C++/C# software programming on a x64 platform in windows operating system, and is required to work on software design / coding / testing / documentation for a demonstrator development. The latter comprises (i) antenna controller subsystem, (ii) central controller with GUI, and (iii) integration with other sub-systems. Proper object-oriented software approach shall be adopted where applicable.
Work closely with the team with PI, team members, collaborators and external vendors to ensure timely and efficient completion of project milestones.
May also be assigned to work other areas (communication research related) and administration/support depending on research project requirement and development progress.
Job Requirements:
Masters / Bachelor's Degree in Electrical / Electronics / Communications Engineering / Computing from reputable university.
Proficient in C/C++/C# software programming in windows application development.
Ability to think out of the box and to invent novel ways of solving complex technical problems independently.
Possess good communication skills (verbal/written English) and enjoy working within a team as well as independently (with minimum guidance).
Preferred Requirement:
Working experience in software development is preferred.
