Requirements
- 11+ years of experience in UX/UI Design, with expertise in digital experiences.
- Strong experience in leading and managing UX/UI design projects and driving design excellence across engagements.
- Extensive hands-on experience in primary user research, including contextual inquiries, field research, ethnographic studies, stakeholder interviews, usability testing, and synthesis of findings.
- Expertise in research methodologies such as Card Sorting, Journey Mapping, Persona Development, Affinity Mapping, and User Experience Analysis.
- Proven experience in planning, facilitating, and leading Design Thinking workshops, discovery sessions, co-creation workshops, and stakeholder alignment sessions.
- Strong experience in design consulting engagements, customer experience transformation initiatives, and strategic UX advisory programs.
- Experience in preparing and responding to RFPs, RFIs, proposals, solution presentations, and client pitches.
- Advanced proficiency in Figma, including components, variants, design systems, auto-layout, prototyping, and developer handoff.
- Strong interaction design skills with expertise in user flows, navigation models, information architecture, design patterns, and complex system behaviours.
- Expertise in building scalable design systems and reusable UI frameworks.
- Strong visual design fundamentals, including hierarchy, accessibility, typography, layout, and responsive design principles.
- Experience working closely with Product, Business, Engineering, and Leadership stakeholders.
- Ability to independently manage multiple engagements, priorities, and distributed teams.
- Excellent communication, presentation, stakeholder management, and client-facing skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage UX/UI design projects across multiple programs, ensuring high-quality design delivery.
- Define UX vision, design strategy, and experience roadmaps aligned with business objectives and user needs.
- Plan and conduct primary user research activities including field studies, contextual inquiries, customer interviews, observations, surveys, and usability testing.
- Synthesize research findings into actionable insights, personas, journey maps, opportunity areas, and design recommendations.
- Lead Card Sorting exercises, information architecture workshops, and content organization activities to improve user experiences.
- Facilitate Design Thinking workshops, discovery sessions, ideation workshops, stakeholder interviews, and co-creation engagements.
- Partner with business stakeholders to identify customer challenges and translate them into innovative design solutions.
- Drive design consulting initiatives by providing strategic UX recommendations and experience transformation strategies.
- Own and contribute to RFP responses, proposals, solutioning, estimation, and client presentations.
- Develop production-ready wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using Figma.
- Establish, maintain, and govern design systems, reusable components, and UX standards across projects.
- Translate complex business requirements into intuitive, scalable, and user-centric digital experiences.
- Define interaction behaviours, system states, edge cases, and experience flows across platforms.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Architects, Engineers, and Business teams to ensure successful implementation of designs.
- Drive usability testing, design reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives based on user feedback and analytics.
- Present design concepts, research findings, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and clients.
- Ensure alignment between user needs, business goals, technical feasibility, and delivery timelines.
- Champion user-cantered design culture, design quality standards, and innovation across the organization.
- Support business growth initiatives through design leadership, consulting engagements, thought leadership, and pre-sales activities.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Design, Information Technology, or a related field.
