Application Engineer/Product Owner Europe

Description

We have invented and are producing the industry-leading, AI-powered platform and machine solution to sort fish according to gender, deformities, diseases, etc. We have several product lines and continuously developing as well as rolling new products out in Europe and looking for an ambitious application engineer and product owner, who is looking to take responsibility across a core region for Aquaticode.

New Development:

• Execution and documentation of feasibility studies
• Specification and project management of the development of new solutions
• Own the product/solution through the complete life cycle (from invention to maintenance considerations) in collaboration with partners and management
• Manage & document process, project, specifications, and drawings

Existing Machines:

• Supervision of the build process during the manufacturing of the machines by our partners
• Responsible for installation, integration, and maintenance throughout the machine lifecycle
• Problem analysis, support, and troubleshooting via remote diagnostics and on- site in Northern Europe

Requirements

• Proven experience of 3+ years in automation as Automation, Mechatronics, Electronics Engineer or similar role
• Track record of deploying automation solutions (machines) in the field
• Apply solution thinking (consider all aspects of the automation solution)
• Mindset of ownership of the product
• Project management skills
• As it has not been done before, apply agile work style to iterate quickly to get to solution
• Work self-directed and solution oriented (we are a remote first company)
• Excellent communication skills
• Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience in customer interaction/client-facing
• B.Sc. in Automation, Mechatronics, Electronics Engineering or similar field;
• Master’s degree is a plus
• Willing and excited to travel up to 80% of total time
• English proficiency
