Automation Engineer II, Drilling Equipment

As an Automation Engineer II, you’ll design, develop, commission, and support controls and automation solutions that power drilling equipment and rig operations. You’ll translate customer and engineering requirements into reliable PLC, HMI, instrumentation, industrial network, and machine-control systems, taking projects from design and documentation through testing, deployment, and field support.

The role translates customer and engineering requirements into reliable PLC, HMI, instrumentation, network, and machine-control solutions; produces complete technical documentation; supports equipment deployment and testing; and resolves field issues through remote and on-site technical support. The position contributes to safe, accurate, and cost-conscious project execution as an independent engineer or project team member.
