Job Summary/Objective

Quality Assurance Leaders at MRI collaborate closely with Product Management, Product Development, Architecture, and Operations teams to define, execute, and continuously improve the quality strategy for MRI’s software solutions. QA-Leaders are responsible for ensuring the delivery of high‑quality, high‑performance, secure, and scalable products that meet both customer expectations and business objectives.

In this role, QA-Leaders provide direction and oversight for manual, automation, and performance testing strategies across web, mobile, API, and backend systems. They establish quality standards, testing practices, tools, and processes, ensuring consistent and effective execution throughout the software development lifecycle. QA-Leader's guide teams in defining test approaches, acceptance criteria, and release readiness while proactively identifying quality risks and driving corrective actions.

QA-Leaders are accountable for building, mentoring, and developing high‑performing QA teams, fostering a culture of quality ownership, continuous improvement, and accountability. They leverage metrics, reporting, and data‑driven insights to evaluate quality outcomes, improve efficiency, and inform decision‑making at the product, portfolio, and enterprise levels.

In addition, QA-Leaders champion the adoption of AI‑enabled testing capabilities to optimize test design, execution, defect analysis, and risk prediction. By integrating AI and modern testing practices, QA-Leaders enhance testing effectiveness, accelerate delivery, and ensure that quality remains embedded across MRI’s products, teams, and global organization.

Responsibilities/Role Focus:

Defines and executes QA strategy for a product line, region, or major portfolio.

Owns Global QA Governance, execution and transformation

Skills and Experience:

Quality Strategy & Governance

· Define QA vision, strategy, and standards

· Own quality outcomes across multiple products

· Ensure strong manual, automation, and performance testing practices

Leadership & Scale

· Lead Managers and Senior Managers

· Build high‑performing, globally distributed teams

· Ensure consistent execution across regions

Cross‑Functional Partnership

· Partner with Product, Engineering, Architecture, and Operations leadership

· Influence release decisions and risk tradeoffs

AI & Innovation

· Drive adoption of AI‑powered testing, analytics, and reporting

Use data to improve predictability, stability, and customer outcomes

· Define enterprise QA operating model and maturity roadmap

· Lead Directors and Senior Managers globally

· Establish global standards for manual, automation, and performance testing

· Own organization‑wide quality KPIs and reporting

Drive large‑scale AI adoption and quality transformation initiatives

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related discipline preferred

• Equivalent experience in Quality Assurance, Software-Engineering, or Technical Leadership considered

• Advanced certifications, leadership training, or equivalent experience valued at senior levels
