We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Funds & AML Services Take-On Administrator to join our newly established global Fund & AMLSP Services Take on team.
You will undertake a range of compliance and risk management duties, which will be focused on ensuring the firm's regulatory obligations and risk management objectives are fulfilled. These include obligations that are defined by applicable laws and regulations covering anti-money laundering (AML), financial services businesses, data protection and confidentiality requirements and the Mourant Group's own compliance and risk management policies and standards. About the role
In this role, you will:
- Onboard and risk assess all investor business types and be familiar with the CDD Exemptions available.
- Work closely with peer Global Client Take-On Teams in Mourant Governance Services TCB business and Law Firm to collate CDD seamlessly in accordance with policies and procedures and assist with team training where necessary.
- Work closely with Fund Administration business team members involved with the client and investor take-on and periodic review process to maintain efficient and effective and timely interaction and procedures between the business and GCTOT across all jurisdictions for CDD and associated activities.
- Work closely with the Client Compliance Services Team to ensure streamlined processes and effective communication with the business, other R&C teams or Business Services teams.
- Provide guidance on AML/CFT/CPF, ABC, reputational risk and CDD matters, and respond to internal inquiries from client services teams and other stakeholders on substantive matters involving client and investor on-boarding.
- Escalate higher risk business to the MLRO, CRCO and/or appropriate business team member, as appropriate.
- Communicate clearly and confidently with clients (both individual and representatives of corporate clients) and investors on CDD requirements.
- Provide support on an ad hoc basis to enhance operational processes associated with client and investor CDD at new business.
- Comply with core controls and maintaining risk management records in accordance with applicable policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with the Client Compliance Services team members, other Risk and Compliance team members and stakeholders of the Firm, as appropriate on risk management initiatives involving CDD.
