Business Intelligence Lead
Location: New York, NY
Motorsport Network is seeking a dynamic and analytically driven Business Intelligence Lead to lead data strategy across our owned and operated digital properties. This is an experienced role at the intersection of data analytics, digital marketing, and audience development — requiring both strategic vision and hands-on technical expertise.
Reporting directly to the Global Head of Programming, you will own the full BI function: building dashboards, defining KPIs, tracking audience growth, and translating complex data into actionable insights that power content and commercial decisions across web, social, and broadcast platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Analytics & Reporting
Architecting multi-source data aggregation pipelines consolidating web, social, broadcast, and third-party data
Leading AI-powered dashboard development with automated anomaly detection and real-time trend surfacing
Establish reporting cadences (daily, weekly, monthly) and deliver actionable performance summaries to senior leadership
Monitor, interpret, and communicate KPIs for web traffic, engagement, conversion, and audience retention, audience demographics
Social Media Measurement & Audience Analysis and Growth
Develop benchmarking and competitive intelligence reports to contextualize Motorsport Network's social and web performance against industry peers & Audience
Audience Break Downs by Country, Brand and Integrate Nielsen and ComScore data into audience insights supporting the company go-to-market sales strategy
Define and track audience growth metrics across owned and operated social channels (Instagram, YouTube, X/Twitter, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn)
Build and maintain social analytics frameworks measuring reach, engagement rate, follower growth, share of voice, and content performance
Design and manage social media campaign tracking infrastructure, including UTM parameter governance and attribution modeling
Goal Setting & Strategic Planning
Partner with the Global Head of Programming and commercial leadership to define annual and quarterly audience growth targets
Build OKR and KPI frameworks that align BI outputs with editorial, marketing, and revenue objectives
Lead regular goal review cycles and provide data-backed recommendations to course-correct or accelerate performance
Required Qualifications
7+ years of experience in business intelligence, digital analytics, or a related data function — ideally within media, publishing, or sports entertainment
Experience with AI-powered dashboard tools (Copilot in Power BI, Tableau AI, or equivalents)
Designing and managing data aggregation/integration pipelines to produce clean, analysis-ready datasets
Expert-level proficiency in Power BI, including data modeling, DAX, and dashboard design
Deep hands-on experience with Google Analytics 4, including event tracking, funnel analysis, and custom reporting
Proven track record managing SEO programs at scale; familiarity with GEO/AI search optimization strongly preferred
Strong command of social media and consumer analytics platforms (Sprout Social, Brandwatch, ComScore, Nielsen,,native platform insights, or equivalents)
Experience building and governing UTM/campaign tracking frameworks for multi-channel marketing attribution
Skilled communicator capable of presenting complex data narratives to both technical and non-technical audiences
Demonstrated ability to set meaningful KPIs and build reporting systems that drive accountability and performance
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a global or multi-market media organization
Familiarity with motorsport, automotive, or sports media content landscapes
Working knowledge of SQL, Python, or other data manipulation tools
Experience integrating BI tools with CMS platforms, CDPs, or CRM systems
Background in paid social campaign analytics and cross-channel attribution
This role is based in New York City with a hybrid in-office schedule.
Compensation: $140 - $160k - Compensation package will depend on experience and training.
