Department Overview

Push To Talk Over Cellular is the next generation PTT application which is deployed on multiple platforms like Android, iOS, Embedded Devices and Windows. The client application is build on top of a cross platform library which serves as the heart of the application. This library which is known as the Core Development Engine (CDE) is written on top of PJSIP Stack with application level logic to accommodate client specific features across different platforms.

Job Description

Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Senior software Engineer to contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of our core applications/tools. This role requires proficiency in C/C++, Python, or Node.js, along with a collaborative mindset and a passion for tackling challenging projects using cutting-edge technologies. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver and a strong communicator eager to contribute to a dynamic team environment and guide the development of junior engineers.

Responsibilities:
Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of Software applications/tools.
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
Collaborate with team to understand project requirements and deliver solutions.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
Debug and resolve software defects and issues.
Identify the gaps in the existing manual workflow/process and try to automate
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure continuous improvement.

SOFT SKILLS

• Good Oral and Written Communication Skills are required.
• Should be a self-motivated person who can thrive in challenging environment and gel well with the team.
• Should be willing to grasp/share knowledge with the team

Basic Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• Experience in software development.

• Coding Proficiency in C/C++/Python/C# Programming languages.

• Hands-on experience in VoIP functional testing and core telecom protocols (SIP, RTP/RTCP, DNS, HTTP, SSL/TLS, TCP/UDP)

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with software development tools and environments.

• Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.

• Basic knowledge of databases and SQL.

• Basic understanding of AI/ML concepts (Good to have).
