Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Firmware Engineer to join our product development team, ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals with expertise in embedded systems, C/C++, and hardware-software integration. You will contribute to the development, testing, and maintenance of firmware for cutting-edge AI enabled camera systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure product excellence.

  • Hardware-Software Integration: Partner with hardware engineers during board bring-up, verify peripherals, and integrate drivers. Address firmware and hardware interaction challenges.

  • Factory Support: Develop and maintain manufacturing test tools, resolve firmware issues during production, and collaborate with operations teams to optimize deployment processes.

  • Documentation and Process: Create technical documentation, track tasks using Git and project management tools, and stay updated on embedded system best practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.

  • Proficiency in C/C++ for bare-metal or RTOS environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with RTOS (e.g., FreeRTOS, Zephyr) and Linux OS.

  • Knowledge of wireless protocols (e.g., Bluetooth, Wi-Fi) and hands-on hardware design experience.

  • Familiarity with production processes, manufacturing test development, or automation scripting (e.g., Python, Bash).

  • Prior internship or project experience in firmware development.
