Parametric is part of Morgan Stanley Investment Management, the asset management division of Morgan Stanley. We partner with advisors, institutions, and consultants to build portfolios focused on what's important to them and their clients. This role is part of Parametric's hybrid working model, which includes working in the office 2-3 days a week and choosing to work remotely or in the office the remaining days of the week.

ABOUT THE TEAM
The Core Services team at Parametric:

• Our team is focused on building Parametric's Radius platform. Radius is the centralized next generation cloud native platform for Parametric. It is built from the ground up to account for cloud scale and growth.
• Sitting alongside the core Radius data services are shared platform components to facilitate communication and workflows across service domains and allow for more sophisticated integration patterns.

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a highly skilled full stack Python developer with expertise in OpenAI and LLM technologies. The successful candidate will be proficient in Python and experienced in deploying applications to cloud services such as AWS. This role involves developing robust, scalable, and efficient web applications that integrate advanced AI functionalities.
You will have responsibility to help define requirements, create solution designs, implement code to specifications, and support solutions while deployed and used by our industry customers.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Interact with customers directly to understand the business problem, help and aid them in implementation of their generative AI solutions.
• Effective communication skills with business users and other developers.
• Conduct code reviews of other developers working on generative AI solutions.
• Implement and manage cloud deployments using AWS services, ensuring high availability and scalability.
• Design, develop, and maintain full stack web applications.
• Maintain and enhance existing applications to improve performance and user experience.

SKILL SET
Required Experience: 7+ years
Skill set: Python, REST, Flask/Django, React, Docker, CSS/HTML/JavaScript, OAuth

Primary Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related area of study.
• 7+ years of hands-on development experience managing all aspects of technical projects with a proven track record of delivering well architected
• and well written software solutions.
• 5+ Years of hands-on Python software design and development experience.
• Cloud native development experience a plus: AWS is preferred, but not required.
• Understanding of micro-services architecture/containerization.
• Familiarity with GIT version control system.
• Working experience with Agile development.

Good to Have Skills:

• Knowledge of AWS tools such as ECS and EC2.
• Knowledge of Terraform.
• Knowledge of Streamlit.
• Knowledge of Gitlab Pipelines.
