Institutional Securities Technology (IST) develops and oversees the overall technology strategy and bespoke technology solutions to drive and enable the institutional businesses and enterprise-wide functions. IST’s ‘clients’ include Fixed Income, Equities, Commodities, Investment Banking, Research, Prime Brokerage and Global Capital Markets.

Job Profile

We are looking for Senior Data Engineer who will be responsible for -
- Designing and Building data driven solutions leveraging Azure SQL DB, Snowflake, Apache Airflow and PowerBI
- Designing and building data pipelines
- Data modelling
- Implementing data integration and data quality to ensure data integrity, reliability, and availability.

Skill Set

Must have experience (Must be strong hands-on experience):

- Snowflake - Snow SQL, Snow Pipe, Tasks, Streams, Time Travel, Stored procedures, Functions etc.
- Microsoft SQL Server or Azure SQL DB
- No-SQL document store like MongoDB, Elastic search or any document store
- Even driven system, batch processing, ETL
- Database and SQL performance turning
- Python
- Database design, Data modelling, OLTP, OLAP

Nice to have:
- Experience in PowerBI is a major plus
- Working level experience in building data pipelines using Apache Airflow, Apache Spark, Apace Parquet/Avro etc.
- Experience with SAP BO and Crystal Report migration to PowerBI.
- Experience with building web services using Python or Java

Qualifications/Criterion

Bachelor’s Degree with strong handson experience.
5-10 years of relevant experience.
