Wealth Management Technology
Wealth Management Technology is responsible for the design, development, delivery, and support of the technical solutions behind the products and services used by the Morgan Stanley Wealth Management Business. Practice areas include: Analytics, Intelligence, & Data Technology (AIDT), Client Platforms, Core Technology Services (CTS), Financial Advisor Platforms, Global Banking Technology (GBT), Investment Solutions Technology (IST), Institutional Wealth and Corporate Solutions Technology (IWCST), Technology Delivery Management (TDM), User Experience (UX), and the CAO team.

Job Profile
Design, implement, and maintain automation solutions using Python, Ansible, PowerShell, and Linux shell scripting to optimize system operations. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect scalable and reliable infrastructure solutions. * Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to system performance, configuration, and reliability. Implement and maintain observability solutions using Prometheus, Loki, and Grafana for monitoring and logging. * Ensure adherence to security best practices and compliance requirements. * Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance as needed. * Document system designs, configurations, and procedures.

Primary Skills
Primary Skills

* 6-8 years of experience in Monitoring/Observability or related field. 

* Hands-on experience with observability tools such as Prometheus, Loki, and Grafana.

* experience in setting up open-source distributed tracing platform such as Grafana Tempo or Jeager

* Proficiency in Python programming language for automation tasks.

* Expertise in Linux shell scripting (Bash, Shell) for system administration tasks.

* Experience with cloud platform is required, with preference given to Azure.

* Knowledge of Terraform will be an advantage.

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with team members and stakeholders.

Good To have Skills
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
