We're seeking someone to join our Core Access Management team as a Lead Software Developer for Core Access Management Platforms in Identity and Access Management department of Cyber Data Risk and Resiliency (CDRR) to support and develop core Access Management platform in support of business and systems entitlements for Morgan Stanley business applications and infrastructure.

What you’ll do in the role:
• Define technical architecture and roadmap for large-scale, mission-critical systems.
• Lead a team of software engineers, providing coaching, feedback, and performance evaluations.
• Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning within the team.
• Oversee the execution of software development projects, ensuring quality and on-time delivery.
• Drive the recruitment and retention of top technical talent for the team.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to shape technology strategy and roadmap.
• Represent the software engineering team in cross-functional discussions and planning sessions.
What you’ll bring to the role:
• At least 8 years of hands-on experience in Java, Angular, Design Patterns, Spring, Hibernate, SQL, Web Services, XML, Linux
• Hands-on development and deployment experience in Tomcat 8.0, WebSphere Application Servers.
• Proficient in writing SQL queries and Stored Procedures for different databases.
• Experience with Agile methodology and Behavior Driven Development
• Experience with DB2, Oracle or Sybase databases.
• Strong people management skills and fostering a collaborative team culture.
• Proven record of managing teams and large-scale projects
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment to meet client demands.
