Java Developer

You will: 
• Work on the Market Risk platform, within a global team in Technology department
• Be involved in all aspects of software life cycle including gathering requirements from the business, analysis of existing systems/functionality, design and implementation, all the way through to production roll out and subsequent support in an Agile environment
• Be able to grow as a flexible and practical technologist, show and gain excellent problem-solving skills
• Enjoy all aspects of software development
• Be part of a distributed team, with strong presence in Budapest #LI-FT1

You have: 
• 3+ years of relevant experience
• Strong knowledge in core Java (including Spring boot based RESTful web services in multi-threaded environments)
• Strong knowledge in Object Oriented Design principles
• Strong technical analysis and problem-solving skills
• Experience writing unit test cases using mock frameworks like Mockito, etc.
• Data modelling, SQL, Stored Procedures, Triggers, etc.
• Good communication skills #LI-FT1

You might also have: 
• Experience in JavaScript frameworks such as Angular
• Understanding of Agile principles and methodologies
• DevOps experience
• Hands-on experience with lambdas and streams
• Experience in functional automated testing
• Experience in utilizing standard design patterns

Market Risk Department (MRD) provide independent monitoring for risk management. Firm-wide deployment of a prudent framework, alongside a robust and sound market risk oversight framework, is critical to ensuring that the Firm meets its daily obligations and to withstand unanticipated stress events.
CHOIR team is the centre-piece of providing user-tailored market risk data views and the Firm's modernization efforts and regulatory requirements. The platform is a suite of applications that calculate risk metrics and risk reports that facilitate effective management of Market Risk. BPTECH
