Java Developer

You will: 
- Work on developing new and enhancing existing Risk applications
- Be part of an Agile squad with members in Budapest and other locations, following Agile principles and applying DevOps practices
- Work with large datasets and develop distributed data processing and calculation
- Shape the tooling and technology landscape of Risk Management, by introducing tools enabling better business processes required for meeting Firm's regulatory obligations  

You have: 
- Solid knowledge of Java language
- Solid knowledge of writing and understanding SQL queries
- Experience designing applications and data model
- Experience with Agile Development
- Open mind to learn new technologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

You might also have:
- Experience with distributed data processing pipelines using Spark, Hive, Python, and other tools and languages
- Experience with MongoDB
- Experience with Python
- Experience with automated testing
- Experience with large scale databases

Team Profile: 
Risk Tech supports Risk Management department, which is responsible for monitoring, measuring and communicating risks generated by Morgan Stanley's business lines. In Budapest, Risk Tech covers critical business processes in Market and Credit Risk domains, as well as horizontal Stress-testing and Reporting domains. Risk Tech's regional stability and further growth is guaranteed by strong local business presence of ~450 users, as well as the technical excellence of developers. Budapest Risk Tech has been considered the core of strategic development since it has been established in 2008. It is responsible for development of heavy calculation engines, with plans for moving them to Cloud, modernization of complex processes, introduction of event-driven architecture and has been among first adopting Agile and DevOps principles. #BPTECH
