Global Advanced Solutions: 

The Global Advanced Solutions organization provides key private and public client support in Financial Reporting, Advanced Solutions and Global Intelligence including ongoing client service on both Shareworks and Equity Edge Online, critical function support for equity administration, data and automation, reporting, tax and legal compliance and subject matter expertise in the respective areas. In addition, the Global Intelligence team provides clients with global legal and tax information related to equity compensation and assists companies to manage their tax withholding obligations.  

The Automation Solutions Senior Consultant is part of the Automation Solutions Practice which is part of the Client Success Management group within the Morgan Stanley at Work organization.  The Automation Solutions Senior Consultant role requires a combination of strategic and analytical problem solving, coupled with strong execution capability. The successful candidate will be an experienced self-starter and have strong integration, project management, and client engagement experience with a proven track record of achieving success in a fast-paced, results-driven organization.   This is a hybrid role - requiring 3 days in the office.

The Automation Solutions Senior Consultant Responsibilities:
•    Manages aspects of client equity compensation plan(s) including:
o    Providing project management support and leadership, managing project milestones, ongoing status updates, and communications to key stakeholders
o    Creating and maintaining a detailed project plan and open items log for project monitoring purposes
o    Interacting closely with cross-functional teams to collect, clarify, and document system requirements.
o    Assisting in the creation of playbooks, tools, and templates to be used by project teams.
o    Partnering with external client departments (e.g., Payroll, Human Resources, Executive Compensation, Relationship Management, Finance, IT, etc.) to implement automated and integrated solutions
o    Managing third party engagements (e.g., Service Providers, Payroll Vendors, etc.) with new and existing client base
•    Provides equity compensation expertise and knowledge of practices, trends, and programs as the subject matter expert
•    Mentor and train Advanced Solutions team members
•    Liaises with internal Morgan Stanley at Work business partners (Product, Client Success Management, Implementation) to help create strategic solutions for clients

Qualifications
•    Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, or related experience is preferred
•    5+ years of equity compensation administration, payroll management, or related experience
•    Experience in customer service and/or a client-facing role with a strong aptitude for understanding and responding to client needs with relevant solutions based on knowledge of businesses, products, services, and external factors (e.g., regulatory, economic, and industry trends)
•    Keen focus on client satisfaction, striving to meet and exceed the expectations of clients while building strong relationships and developing guidelines to improve client interactions
•    Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task across multiple assignments
•    Excellent verbal and written communication skills in a variety of client settings, articulately answering client questions and requests 
•    Strong leadership skills, supporting other consultants by leading by example and creating an inclusive team environment
•    Ability to proactively identify potential risks and issues along with solutions, independently engaging resources to problem solve 
•    Displays a continuous improvement approach and encourages others to do the same
•    Self-directed and results oriented by setting clear and realistic goals to address client needs and exceed service delivery expectations
•    Knowledgeable about equity-related accounting, tax, and legal concepts, both domestic and international in scope
•    Strong teamwork skills with the ability to problem solve, learn quickly, share knowledge, and adapt to changing priorities
•    Knowledgeable on stock plan administration systems
•    Ability and willingness to travel up to 10%
•    CEP Level 1 required within 1 year of hire date; CEP Level 3 preferred

This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days in the office.
