Morgan Stanley Fixed Income Strats are looking for an experienced C++ developer to work on fundamental Quantitative Analytics models used by the Bank’s Fixed Income Trading Desks. We are looking for a self-motivated individual with outstanding technical skills who want to leverage their talent in solving business problems in a complex, diverse and global environment.

Role description:

-  The cross-FID product market convention analytics strat team in Budapest supports the software and reference data used throughout the Fixed Income division to provide defaulting and cashflow rolling services. Clients include critical Morgan Stanley systems and trading teams. The team provides front-line support to the trading desks, requiring problem solving to deliver support for new market conventions and support for new products.
-  The team plays a central role in large market-driven changes such as LIBOR replacement and Central Counterparty collateral renovation. For LIBOR replacement, the team developed the new analytics needed to allow FID to transition existing portfolios of thousands of trades. The team also plays a major role in engineering projects such as the migration of vanilla rates options pricing to our next generation of financial models, the consolidation of product tooling and the adoption of a new shared analytic framework across FID.
-  The role requires excellent C++ development skills and an ability to work with diverse partners and clients.  This is an ideal role for an experienced C++ developer looking to gain insight into financial markets development.

You have:

-  Degree in a quantitative area or technology such as Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, etc.
-  Solid problem solving & math foundations and an interest in the financial industry
-  Good programming skills in C++ or in some other object-oriented programming language
-  Advanced communication skills in English.
