Parametric is part of Morgan Stanley Investment Management, the asset management division of Morgan Stanley. This role is part of Parametric's hybrid working model, which includes working in the office 3 days a week and choosing to work remotely or in the office the remaining days of the week.

ABOUT THE TEAM

The Platform Implementation team sits within Platform Solution Management and is responsible for leading the design and deployment of solutions using internal and third-party vendor systems for our business. Implementations can be high-profile initiatives requiring team members to have senior level exposure and play an active role in transforming the organization. A typical implementation is at least as much about implementing business transformation strategies as it is about technology. This means that we develop a true partnership with our clients, i.e., our business teams, in realizing their strategic objectives.

ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Systems Analyst, you will be actively engaged in building, testing, and implementing Salesforce solutions to mee the evolving needs of our organization. You will work closely with other Systems Analysts in the Platform Implementation space to ensure that workflows, automations, and UIs meet stated business requirements and are implemented in a way that aligns to Salesforce updated functionality and best practices.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting for bug fixes, enhancements, routine maintenance, and user support with a primary focus on
  • Salesforce but with possibility for providing assistance across other platforms as needed (Tableau, Marketing Cloud, Seismic and Workfront).
  • Based on requirement documentation, build out flows, automations, integrations and UIs to fulfill feature requests
  • Execute unit, performance, and user acceptance tests to ensure solutions meet quality standards. Deploy across sandboxes for user acceptance testing and feedback.
  • Contribute to technical debt resolution roadmap by transferring workflow rules and process builder to flow and implementing Salesforce Shield best practices.
  • Contribute to maintenance, development and enhancements of new and existing integrations of Salesforce to both cloud and on prem systems.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS
SKILL SET
Required Experience: 3+ years
Skill Set: Salesforce customization, configuration, and administration

PRIMARY SKILLS

  • Required Experience: 3+ years customization, configuration and administration of Salesforce
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce platform best practices, security and permission models, Salesforce data model, and coding guidelines
  • Strong experience with Salesforce flow development, apex classes and triggers
  • Experience with both Sales and Service Cloud
  • Experience with Salesforce integrations, including REST and SOAP APIs and/or HTTP callouts
  • Experience working in the Salesforce development lifecycle, including building, testing and deploying work across sandbox environments

Good to Have Skills:

  • Salesforce certifications (ie Certified Salesforce Administrator, Certified Salesforce Platform App Builder, Platform Developer I or II, JavaScript Developer I)
  • Ability to recognize and recommend when to use declarative tools and functionality versus when custom development work offers best/simplest solution.
  • Experience using integration tools, such as Salesforce APIs, Kafka/Confluent Cloud, CRMA, to integrate with other systems used in the organization such as Tableau, Snowflake and other instances of Salesforce.
  • Familiarity with developing on and basic administration in other cloud platforms, such as Tableau, Marketing Cloud, Seismic, Workfront, Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services.
  • Familiarity working in an Agile, Jira & Confluence based teams.
