This role is an Australia-based, fully work-from-home position, with access to co-working spaces in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. 

About The Role

The Senior Software Engineer will focus on building and optimising data platforms, improving developer tooling, and implementing robust security measures.  Working at the intersection of data engineering, software development, and security, the Senior Software engineer will have a solid foundation in software engineering, with an interest or background in data platform technologies and a keen eye for security challenges.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop high-quality software and platform solutions.
  • Develop high-quality software and platform solutions that meet project requirements, utilising a variety of programming languages and technologies.
  • Proactively identify and address technical challenges, ensuring robust and scalable.
  •  solutions.
  • Development and optimization of Kafka tooling for improved developer experiences.
  • Implement and maintain security measures across our data platform and infrastructure.
