Your responsibilities will include planning, architecture and end-to-end executions. You will have direct responsibility for development, quality, and should also be a hands-on engineering leader. This is a role where you transition seamlessly between managing people & technical details, at times dropping into architecture and code to help the team meet its objectives while also keeping your technical skills sharp.

Key Responsibilities –

  Operational Management:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the web application, ensuring high availability and performance.

• Manage the support team to address and resolve incidents, service requests, and application issues in a timely manner and within agreed SLA.

• Monitor application health, performance metrics, and error logs to proactively identify and resolve potential issues.

  Enhancement and Release Management:

• Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to prioritize and plan new features and enhancements.

• Coordinate and manage the release cycles, ensuring minimal disruption to users and adherence to deadlines.

• Work closely with development teams to ensure smooth deployment and integration of new features.

  Team Leadership:

• Lead a team of engineers, support specialists, and developers, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance management.

• Foster a collaborative team environment that encourages innovation, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.

• Develop and manage training programs to ensure team members are up to date with the latest technologies and best practices.

  Stakeholder Communication:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for application-related queries and updates, maintaining clear and transparent communication with stakeholders.

• Provide regular updates on application status, upcoming releases, and any issues or risks to senior management and stakeholders.

What we’re looking for:

Technology Skills:

·10+ years of experience developing green field, complex & scalable web-based applications on AWS stack with 3+ years in managing support & enhancements.

·Strong understanding of AWS cloud architecture, AWS services and integration technologies.

·Demonstrated competency in any of MEAN/LAMP/MERN stack.

·4+ years of extensive hands-on development experience with web services, REST API and Microservice.

·Ability to collaborate with several technology functions of architecture, security, Cloud, Devops, IT Infrastructure and other enterprise applications team

·Strong knowledge of object-oriented development methodologies.

·Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.

·Experience working in Agile development environment.

·Experience with GIT, Bitbucket or Github and the Features branching workflow.

Managerial Skills:

·People management experience of atleast 3yrs to hire and develop skilled workforce.

·Demonstrated capability to manage application support and enhancements by collaborating with both business SPOCs and internal development team.

·Provide solution governance and technology best practices on a continuous basis.

·Experience in a technology operations model to deliver value consistently in an agile environment and creating value delivery roadmap.

·Demonstrated capability to work independently and manage ambiguity in technology led initiatives.

·Ability to communicate effectively with different organizational layers and bring a cohesive and positive attitude in the team.

·Ability to remain calm under pressure and navigate challenges with a positive, solution-oriented approach.

·Awesome written and oral communication skills and ability to work in a global and distributed environment with agility to mould communication for different audiences.
