About the role
As an Associate Product Manager at TeamApt, you will play a crucial role in facilitating the Agile development process and ensuring effective collaboration between cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality switching solutions. You will be responsible for guiding teams in adopting and practising Agile methodologies, removing impediments, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Core Responsibility
- Manage project scope and timelines.
- Facilitate all Scrum events, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and sprint retrospectives.
- Collaborate with the Product Manager and Engineering Manager to prioritize and refine the product backlog, ensuring well-defined, estimated, and development-ready user stories.
- Remove impediments and roadblocks that hinder Scrum team progress, promoting a collaborative problem-solving environment.
- Monitor team metrics and key performance indicators to track progress, identify bottlenecks, and drive continuous improvement.
- Document deployment and release versions for bug fixes, enhancements, and new features.
- Act as a mediator between the product-engineering team and the support-engineering team to document and convey new jars for proper deployment in bank environments (Direct to Bank Solutions).
- Manage and oversee team operations on Jira.
- Distribute sprint and weekly reports to stakeholders.
- Coach team members in Agile frameworks.
- Facilitate internal communication and effective collaboration.
- Assist teams in implementing changes effectively.
- Promote a culture of transparency, trust, and open communication within and across teams.
- Stay informed of industry trends and developments in Agile and Scrum methodologies, and contribute to the continuous evolution of Agile practices at Teamapt.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
- A prior experience in payment systems or banking.
- Previous experience, preferably in backend development, as a software engineer is advantage
- At least 3 years of experience in a Scrum master role
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification is preferred.
- Excellent facilitation, conflict resolution, and communication skills.
- Ability to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to addressing challenges and facilitating solutions.
- Experience with Agile tools and software, such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar platforms.
- Adaptability and flexibility to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
