About the team
We’re looking for a Software Engineer to join our Incubation team.
The Incubation group is responsible for building a portfolio of independent, early-stage startups from the ground up within the monday.com ecosystem. Each initiative operates as a high-autonomy startup - with its own product vision, technical stack, and pace.
As a Software Engineer in the Incubation team, you’ll play a key role in shaping new products from zero to one. This role requires a strong builder mentality, deep technical ownership across the stack, and a founder-like mindset: moving fast, making decisions under ambiguity, and continuously experimenting, iterating, and evolving both product and technology.
About The Role
- Design and implement end-to-end features for our core platform, focusing on performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- Evolve our architecture and engineering to support the ever-growing scale of users, features, and data.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to translate concepts into production-ready code.
- Contribute to all layers of the application, from the database and backend services to the front-end user interface.
- Our stack - Typescript, node.js, Postgresql, and React.
Requirements
- 2-4 years in fullstack/backend development, with a focus on building high-performance systems at scale.
- Strong proficiency with our stack: Typescript, node.js, Postgresql, and React.
- Strong understanding of databases and data modeling techniques.
- Team player, strong communication skills, empathetic, and someone who thrives working in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with micro-services architecture, event sourcing, and modern frameworks - an advantage.
