Software Engineer II - Integrations

STG Labs is hiring for a Software Engineer II to support its affiliated company, SurveyMonkey. SurveyMonkey, owned by Symphony Technology Group (STG), is building a brand new Center of Excellence in Bengaluru, India. What we’re looking for

A core strategy for SurveyMonkey is to provide thoughtful value to our customers through tight integrations with the enterprise ecosystem for relevant use cases across our product offerings.

The Partners, Integrations and Enablement Team builds foundational RESTful API infrastructure and provides a unified approach to integrations and developer enablement across our market.

We are looking for a talented Software Engineer to build APIs and integrations with a passion for solving challenging problems. Iterating quickly, we work closely with our product owners, designers and customers to ensure we provide the best solution for our users.

What you’ll be working on

• Developing integrations with third-party services
• Building RESTful endpoints in our public API to serve business needs
• Collaborating with engineers to validate best practices and designs
• Focusing on code quality and optimizing for performance and reliability
• Fostering the spirit of continuous improvement and learning amongst fellow engineers

We’d love to hear from people with

• 3+ years of experience in developing highly scalable web applications and services
• Experience with Python and JavaScript
• Experience directly coding and calling external service APIs
• Strong interest in doing code reviews, writing tech specs, collaborating within and across teams, and troubleshooting issues
• Experience with Git or another VCS
• Experience working in an Agile environment
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with both co-located and remote engineers as well as cross-functional partners

Preferred Qualifications:

• Relevant degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Experience with React, TypeScript, GraphQL and AWS
