Solution & System Architect
We are seeking an experienced Solution & System Architect to design, govern, and evolve end-to-end technology solutions supporting mission-critical business platforms. The role focuses on defining architecture across applications, integrations, data, and infrastructure, ensuring alignment with business goals, scalability requirements, and enterprise standards.The architect will analyze existing systems—including core platforms, billing, integration layers, and digital channels—identify gaps, risks, and optimization opportunities, and define target architectures and transition roadmaps. The role includes translating high-level business and technical requirements into clear architectural designs, guiding implementation teams, and ensuring consistent application of architecture principles across projects.
The Solution & System Architect collaborates closely with product owners, engineering teams, operations, security, and vendors to ensure solutions are feasible, resilient, secure, and maintainable. The role also involves defining integration patterns, API strategies, data flows, and non-functional requirements, as well as reviewing designs and supporting complex decision-making throughout the delivery lifecycle.
Additionally, the architect is expected to maintain clear architectural documentation, reference models, and decision records to ensure traceability and long-term sustainability of solutions. The candidate demonstrates strong systems thinking, deep technical expertise, and the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly across technical and non-technical audiences.
Basic Requirements

• Experience defining non-functional requirements (availability, performance, security, resilience).
• Discipline in maintaining architecture documentation and decision records.
• Strong collaboration skills across cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery and iterative architecture practices.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Architecture Responsibilities
• Define end-to-end solution architectures across applications, integrations, and data flows.
• Produce architecture artifacts (solution diagrams, logical/physical views, sequence flows).
• Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards and technology strategy.
• Define integration approaches (API, messaging, event-driven, batch).
• Review and approve solution designs and technical proposals.
• Support estimation, planning, and technical risk assessment.
• Guide teams during implementation and resolve complex technical challenges.
• Participate in architecture governance boards and design reviews.
System Architecture Responsibilities
• Design scalable, resilient, and secure system architectures.
• Define system decomposition, service boundaries, and deployment models.
• Evaluate technology options and recommend platforms, tools, and frameworks.
• Define infrastructure patterns (cloud, hybrid, on-prem).
• Ensure observability, reliability, and operational readiness of systems.
• Identify performance bottlenecks and define optimization strategies.
• Support incident analysis and root cause reviews when needed.
Integration & Data Responsibilities
• Define API strategies, integration standards, and data exchange models.
• Design data flows and ensure consistency across systems.
• Support data governance and integration lifecycle management.
• Ensure backward compatibility and integration stability.
Documentation & Governance
• Maintain architecture documentation, ADRs, and reference architectures.
• Communicate architecture decisions and ensure stakeholder alignment.
• Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements.
• Promote best practices and continuous improvement.
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Strong experience in solution or system architecture roles.
• Solid understanding of microservices, distributed systems, and integration patterns.
• Experience with API-driven and event-driven architectures.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or similar) and/or on-prem environments.
• Understanding of messaging systems (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka or similar).
• Experience defining scalable and resilient architectures.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
• Experience with architecture documentation practices (C4 model, ADRs, diagrams).
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in telecom, billing, or large enterprise environments.
• Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF or similar).
• Experience with CI/CD, DevOps, and platform engineering practices.
• Exposure to security architecture and compliance requirements.
• Experience working with vendors and evaluating technical solutions.
