At our state-of-the-art Proving Ground at Munich Airport, we plan, conduct, and analyze testing activities on a daily basis in close collaboration with multiple test environments across MOIA. In doing so, we play a key role in advancing the development of autonomous solutions at scale. As a key driver of the Volkswagen Group’s mobility initiatives, our work contributes significantly to shaping the Group’s future success.

What you will do

  • Collaborate with Function Owners, V&V, and SOTIF teams to validate system behavior.
  • Define and execute test strategies for new software releases and platform integrations.
  • Analyze test data and create structured test result packages.
  • Support in-vehicle system-level troubleshooting activities.
  • Ensure safe, efficient, and scalable testing processes.
  • Develop automation and tooling to accelerate testing.
  • Contribute to bringing autonomous mobility safely to public roads.

What will help you to fulfill your role

  • A degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field.
  • Experience with or good understanding of Level 4 autonomous driving systems.
  • Strong understanding of autonomous driving system stacks.
  • Experience with automotive debugging tools and communication protocols (e.g., Vector CANoe/CANalyzer, Wireshark, oscilloscope).
  • Hands-on experience with requirements management and bug-tracking tools.
  • Solid Linux knowledge (nice to have).
  • A structured and analytical working style.
  • A proactive team player with a strong sense of ownership.
  • Business fluent English skills.

We welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds — even if you don’t meet every requirement. If you’re excited about the role and MOIA’s mission, we’d love to hear from you!
