We are hiring a highly skilled and experienced Staff Software Engineer to be part of our Mobile Platform Team in India. This is a unique opportunity to join a team of talented individuals and influence the architecture and technical direction of ModMed’s mobile apps and deliver a consistent and elevated experience to our care providers.
Your Role:
- Drive the architecture, design and development efforts for assigned apps, modules and initiatives.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to maintain alignment with business objectives.
- Simplify intricate requirements into manageable deliverables and milestones.
- Ensure that led deliverables meet both functional and non-functional criteria, and proactively drive adjustments where needed.
- Lead the technical direction, provide mentorship and drive excellence in the team.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement in the team through design, code, and operational reviews.
Skills & Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Over 10 years of software development experience, with at least 3 years in a technical leadership capacity.
- Demonstrated exceptional strategic thinking and technical proficiency, showcasing the ability to align technology initiatives with business objectives.
- Strong aptitude for effective communication and collaboration across functional teams.
- Extensive background in iOS/iPadOS development.
- Proficiency in Swift, Objective-C, and various iOS frameworks.
- Experience in AI/ML, particularly with CoreML
- Previous exposure to the healthcare domain is advantageous.
