The Software Development Engineer (SDE) is responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining full-stack web applications in a fast-paced, agile environment. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product owners and engineers, to deliver innovative software solutions that meet business needs and enhance user experiences. This role requires proficiency in modern web development technologies, cloud environments, and the ability to work in an ever-evolving software ecosystem.

Here's What You’ll Do:

Your key responsibilities will be:

• Design, develop, deploy, and maintain full-stack web applications.

• Collaborate with product owners to understand business needs and create scalable software solutions.

• Work within an agile team to contribute to various projects in a cloud environment.

• Monitor, analyze, and improve the performance, resilience, and effectiveness of applications.

Your responsibilities will also include:

• Integrate applications with external systems to enable automation and data analytics.

• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and other software development best practices.

• Document technical systems and ensure user requirements are met through effective communication.

Here’s What You’ll Need (Minimum Qualifications)

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• 2-5 years of experience in modern full-stack web application development.

• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and frameworks like React, Angular, or Node.js.

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs.

• Familiarity with relational databases and SQL.

• Knowledge of version control systems such as Git.

Here’s What You’ll Bring to the Table (Preferred Qualifications)

• Experience working in Life Sciences, biotech, or a regulated environment.

• Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and serverless architectures.

• Knowledge of testing frameworks such as Jest or Cypress.

• Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
