Senior Cyber Systems Engineer

Location: San Diego, CA

Work Location: onsite

• Lead cyber‑focused systems engineering activities, including secure architecture development, technical planning, system integration, and lifecycle support.
• Develop cyber‑resilient system designs that protect data transport, joint fires, targeting, and C2 capabilities.
• Support technology development efforts such as prototyping, modernization initiatives, and integration of emerging cyber technologies.
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards, cross‑domain requirements, and system accreditation needs.
• Conduct cyber risk assessments, vulnerability analyses, and system hardening activities aligned with operational mission needs.

• 18+ years of experience in systems engineering, cybersecurity engineering, or advanced technology development within DoD or national security programs.
• Strong background in cyber systems engineering, secure architectures, and technology prototyping or development.
• Experience supporting CJADC2, ABMS, and joint fires networks.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Engineering; master’s degree preferred.

• TS/SCI

• Military cyber or defense technology experience strongly preferred.
