Principal Data Analytics Engineer
Location: Huntsville, AL, USA
Work Location: onsite
- Leveraging the MDA instantiation of Palantir's "Foundry" software to develop sophisticated analytical tools and interactive dashboards, converting complex datasets into clear, actionable executive‑level visual products
- Designing, building, and maintaining scalable scheduling and analytical tools enabling continuous tracking and optimization
- Providing periodic database management support
- Operating independently translating abstract, high‑level objectives into complete, functioning tools without step‑by‑step guidance
- US Citizenship
- Master’s degree in a STEM field and 12+ years of engineering experience. Alternatively: Bachelor’s degree in STEM and 20+ years of experience may be considered
- Ability to develop analytical and visualization tools
- Ability to work proactively and independently with minimal supervision
- Active security clearance at the required level (e.g., TS/SCI) or ability to obtain this clearance
- Experience supporting database administration
- Experience with SharePoint site management
- Experience with Palantir’s AI-based software development environments
- Strong ability to synthesize technical data into executive‑level products
- Familiarity with missile defense or other complex DoD program environments
