What will your job look like:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of backend developers, fostering growth and technical excellence.
- Take ownership of the end-to-end development process, including task prioritization, on-time feature delivery and identifying technical bottlenecks.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Algorithm, Validation, and DevOps teams to define and implement new features.
- Ensure high-quality code through best practices such as code reviews, automated testing, and CI/CD.
- Lead by example by taking ownership, being proactive and collaborating.
- Stay hands-on (~50%) by actively developing features and reviewing code.
All you need is:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent degree
- At least 2 years of management experience and at least 7 years as BE engineer.
- Experience in managing highly skilled developers, and the ability to lead, coach, guide and influence them.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to debug and resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
- Strong skills in Python
- Experience with microservice architectures and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
Advantages:
- Experience with one of the following solutions: Spark, Presto, Trino, Athena or Drill is an advantage.
