Role: Senior Software Engineer (Fullstack)

As a Senior Software Engineer in our technology department, you’ll have the chance to: • Excellent grasp of one or more languages including an OO language • Strong coding skills and good in writing Sql Queries with Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills 

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent understanding of Object-Oriented Design & Design Patterns, algorithm & data structures 

• Excellent understanding of Microservices architecture and product development using Java/Kotlin/C++ 

• At least 1 year of experience working with any of the Js frameworks like Angular JS, React JS etc 

Who are your stakeholders? 

• The platform enables Data Scientists and Analysts to ingest, process, and analyze vast amounts of data effectively, leading to optimised models and insights 

• With API first and data as a product approach, the product also has all the other capabilities as its customer base 

• The platform is also leveraged quite extensively for all be-spoke market needs and hence local products also are stakeholders for

Data Management platform 
 

What you’ll bring
 

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering 

• 4-7 years development experience with an Object-Oriented

Language (Java/Kotlin/C++) 

• Experience working on the Linux environment 

• Good understanding of multi-tier web applications, experience working on building REST APIs 

• Hands-on experience in developing applications using Java

Enterprise platforms, using UNIX / Linux 

• Experience working in cloud environments such as AWS, Google Cloud or Azure

• Experience with NoSQL databases, such as HBase, Cassandra, MongoDB and good understanding of column based datastore like Redshift

As a SSE you will work on Data which is at the core of all programmatic decision making. At MiQ we have our own interoperable and unified data platform that covers all aspects of data management from ingestion to processing to cataloguing. As a SSE you will work in a platform that enables Data Scientists and Analysts to ingest, process, and analyze vast amounts of data effectively, leading to optimised models and insights. You will work to bring the best-in-class platform that enables ease of data management with the right governance practises embedded in it. With stringent data security measures and ensuring compliance with regulations, engineers protect sensitive information and maintain customer trust. You will act as a pivot along with product who with their interactions with users and stakeholders, build the platform to accommodate business growth. You will continuously aspire to build and manage Data Platform with focus on scalability, future-proofing the data systems inline with changing programmatic trends.
