Machine Vision Engineer

We're looking for a Machine Vision Engineer who thrives at the intersection of optics, software, and manufacturing intelligence. You won't just maintain systems — you will shape how machines see the world. If you have mastered Cognex VisionPro, love debugging stereo vision setups, and write clean C# code, this role is built for you.

· Develop, configure, and maintain machine vision systems using Cognex VisionPro for inspection and measurement

· Write, modify, and optimize C# scripts to power and enhance vision applications

· Set up, calibrate, and debug 2D stereo (binocular) positioning systems from scratch

· Tune and troubleshoot vision systems at measurement and inspection stations on live production lines

· Integrate vision solutions into production environments and ensure stable, reliable performance

· Work alongside automation, mechanical, and software teams to deliver end-to-end solutions

· Document system configurations, calibration procedures, and debugging processes for long-term maintainability

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Automation, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field

• Hands-on experience with Cognex VisionPro or a comparable industrial vision platform

• Strong proficiency in C# scripting and software development within vision applications

• Solid understanding of 2D stereo vision principles and end-to-end calibration workflows

• Proven experience debugging vision systems in inspection or measurement environments

• Familiarity with the DCCK framework or a similar software architecture

• Must be legally eligible to work in Sweden (valid work permit or EU/EEA citizenship required)

• Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

• Proficiency in Chinese (Mandarin) language is an added advantage

Nice to Have:

• Experience in industrial automation or manufacturing environments

• Knowledge of camera calibration, image processing, and optical systems

• Strong problem-solving instincts and spot root causes, not just symptoms

• Self-starter who communicates clearly and thrives within cross-functional teams
