The Market Research, Finance & Business Development Intern is an aspiring professional looking to understand market research, critical analysis and “deal making.” This internship will help you acquire research, interpersonal skills and analysis skills as you learn to build relationships. Ultimately, you will gain broad experience in the different facets of market research, business development, sales and marketing and should be prepared to enter any fast-paced work environment.
Market Research, Finance & Business Development Intern position. The internship is designed for someone who is eager to gain experience in market research, business development, and sales/marketing within a professional and fast-paced work environment.
Candidates Should expect the following:
- A structured intern program offering social activities and networking opportunities with other interns as well as Minitab colleagues including our CEO. Ever taken a tour of Beaver Stadium? Responsibilities:
- Data Analysis: Organizing and analyzing different data sets to extract insights.
- Acquisition & Partnership Outreach: Identifying and contacting potential acquisitions or business partners.
- Database Management: Creating and maintaining a database of potential acquisition and partnership candidates.
- Persona Research: Identifying new target personas for new software services and gathering feedback from these potential customers.
- Competitor & Market Research: Studying competitors and market trends to stay informed on industry developments.
- Sales & Marketing Support: Delivering findings to the broader sales and marketing teams to inform strategy.
Qualifications:
- Experience: While prior experience in marketing, sales, or research is beneficial, it is not a requirement.
- Education: Candidates should be pursuing an undergraduate degree from an accredited university, with an interest in research, marketing, or sales.
This internship is aimed at individuals looking to gain hands-on experience, develop valuable skills, and make an impact in a growth-oriented company.
This is an onsite position in our State College, PA HQ. Remote work is not an option.
