Title: Front-End Software Engineer (TV applications)
Duration: 12 Months
Location: Sunnyvale, CA
Requirements: Looking for a talented, energetic front-end software engineer who can help us develop and enhance our Video Service integrations on the desktop, mobile and connected devices. The team also develops strategic video services for mobile and desktop.
Responsibilities:
· Coding and bug fixing
· Unit and functional testing
· Documentation
Desired primary skills / experience with:
· Developing cutting edge consumer product software ( 5+ years )
· Writing video applications ( desktop, mobile, tvOS, Android TV )
· Coding long-running embedded applications
· Coding in a constrained environment ( low memory, limited CPU, etc )
· Agile development process
· Client-side JavaScript ( JSON, XHR, etc )
· JavaScript frameworks ( React, jQuery, etc )
· Writing JavaScript / HTML applications
· Building solutions without relying on standard frameworks
· CSS / HTML · Version control ( git, svn )
Qualifications
Desired experience with TV applications ( tvOS, Android TV).
