Lead Engineer/Architect - with Shift Left experience

As a Lead Engineer, you will be responsible for driving best practices in quality assurance, continuous integration, and deployment. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, guiding the team in adopting testing strategies that identify and resolve issues early. Your leadership will be instrumental in fostering a culture of excellence while mentoring other engineers to elevate their skills.

• Proven experience as a Lead Engineer or Technical Lead in software development, specifically with a focus on the Shift Left testing approach.
• Strong experience with software engineering technologies and methodologies, including Agile development practices.
• Solid understanding of automated testing frameworks and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure) and their integration into development workflows.
• Experience mentoring and guiding junior engineers to promote growth and knowledge sharing.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and address vulnerabilities in the development process proactively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, allowing for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Passionate about quality assurance and the best practices in software development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor engineers in Shift Left testing strategies to enhance software quality from the start of development.
• Design automated testing solutions for quick feedback and early issue identification in the development lifecycle.
• Promote continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) to improve reliability and efficiency in software updates.
• Analyze and improve testing and quality assurance processes to eliminate bottlenecks and boost efficiency.
• Conduct training sessions on best practices in testing and quality assurance to empower team members.
• Communicate with stakeholders to report progress, address challenges, and ensure project alignment.
• Emphasize quality, performance, and security in software delivery at every development stage.
