In this role, you will work at the intersection of cloud infrastructure and edge computing, helping to design and implement innovative solutions that leverage Azure's capabilities. Your expertise will contribute to the creation of scalable and reliable cloud-based systems, with an emphasis on performance and security.
You will be collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability and disaster recovery. Additionally, you'll be responsible for optimizing resource management in edge environments, making sure that our applications deliver the best possible user experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement cloud solutions on Azure, focusing on edge computing capabilities.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate applications with Azure services.
- Monitor performance and security of cloud infrastructure, implementing best practices for optimization.
- Ensure compliance with governance, security policies, and standards.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues within cloud services.
- Create and maintain documentation of cloud architecture and processes.
What You Bring:
- Significant expertise in Azure services and Edge Essentials.
- Thorough knowledge of edge computing concepts and technologies.
- Skilled in utilizing infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and ARM templates.
- Proficient with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and a solid understanding of DevOps practices.
- Strong scripting skills in PowerShell.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
- Experience with Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS).
- Competent in both Windows and Linux environments.
- Knowledgeable in using GitHub Actions and GitOps.
- Outstanding problem-solving abilities with a strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
