We give industry workers a helping hand for tedious manual labour tasks and mitigate labour shortages with a versatile automation platform. Our automation solutions, driven by dexterous robotic hands and cutting-edge AI trained on human observations, bring a new level of AI embodiment to the real world.

As a Senior Robotics Engineer (Mobile), you will develop, deploy and test infrastructure for teleoperation and learning in the context of mobile-based dexterous robotic manipulation, and closely work with our robotics and AI team to achieve safe and robust operation on site.

Responsibilities

  • Own the technical direction of mobile base solutions for our AI-driven manipulation platforms
  • Deploy, test and develop ROS2, Python/C++/Rust software that makes our robots come to life
  • Guide robotics and AI team members in the context of mobile robotics, AGVs and their safety aspects
  • Support on-site deployment of the mobile systems, and interface with our customers’ safety solutions if needed

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
  • 3+ years of work experience in developing, integrating and deploying mobile robotic systems in an industrial environment.
  • Proficiency in Python and C++
  • Proficiency with Linux.

Nice to have

  • Proficiency in Rust.
  • Experience in industrial safety in the context of mobile platforms.
  • Experience in utilising learning-based controllers in robotics.
