Marketing Ops Data Analyst Co-Op (Northeastern University)

Semester: January - June 2025

The Marketing Operations Data Analyst Co-Op will be a part of the Mimecast marketing operations team, focusing on supporting Sales and Marketing to hit new business growth targets. This role will ensure the quality of marketing account and contact data records, support analytics and insights related to key go-to-market initiatives, and, over time, develop new skills in key B2B marketing and sales tools like Salesforce.com, Tableau, Demandbase and Excel

What You’ll Do

• Data Desk - provide assistance and maintenance in Smartsheet of field marketers lead list uploads to Salesforce, Dmarc data and MX provider list enrichments and ad-hoc data querying requests 
• Go-To-Market Data Quality – person would serve as a lead with Sales, Business Development & Marketing Operations on tactical and strategic data enrichment projects for marketing/sales targets
• Process Automation – there is also ample opportunity to optimize and automate data enrichment projects using tools like Salesforce, Tableau, Zoominfo, Leadspace and Demandbase
• Report Building - serve as the 'go-to' resource for go-to-market teams' reporting needs. This can include helping building account/person lists for new business campaigns, helping reps leverage new insights/technology, or building dashboards for marketing leadership
• List pulls for marketing campaigns, enable other marketers over time
• Weekly in-market account imports from Demandbase
• Marketing Campaign data uploads to Salesforce; creating reports and dashboards to track progress.

What You’ll Need

• Intermediate analytics experience in Excel in manipulating data and running analyses  
• Data-driven approach to problem-solving
• Good communication skills

*Please ensure you have your own transportation to our Lexington, MA office as this role is Hybrid 2x/week in office.
