Meet the Team 

We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead / Senior Software Engineer to join our high performing Execution Services Technology Team. This role will provide technical leadership across mission-critical trading platforms, with a focus on order management systems, low-latency infrastructure, production stability, and platform modernization. The ideal candidate brings strong engineering fundamentals, hands-on production support experience, architectural strength, and a passion for mentoring teams in a high-performance environment.

What You'll Do

• Lead the design, development, and support of critical trading platforms, provide technical leadership for low-latency and high-availability systems, and drive platform modernization initiatives.
• Act as a senior escalation point for production incidents, troubleshoot complex performance and stability issues, and drive improvements in system scalability, resiliency, and operational excellence.
• Partner with global teams and stakeholders to deliver reliable, high-quality solutions while mentoring engineers and promoting strong engineering standards, collaboration, and knowledge sharing.

What You Bring

• 8+ years of software engineering experience, preferably in financial services or other high-availability environments.
• Strong experience with distributed, event-driven & low-latency systems and a solid background in systems design, performance optimization, and production support.
• Proven ability to lead technical initiatives and solve complex production issues.
• Strong communication & problem-solving skills and experience mentoring engineers and working across cross-functional teams.
• Experience with order management systems (OMS) or trading infrastructure.
• Familiarity with StreamBase, Solace, Tibco, SoupTCP, or similar technologies.
• Experience modernizing legacy systems and designing APIs.
• Exposure to test automation and reliability-focused engineering practices.
