- Conduct DFMEA and proactively identify product and manufacturing risks.
- Drive DFM/DFA practices to optimize product manufacturability and assembly efficiency.
- Support vendor development, tooling discussions, and production issue resolution during ramp-up.
- Ensure modular integration consistency and product certification compliance.
- Define work breakdown structure, timelines, effort estimates, and cost assessments for assigned modules/projects.
- Maintain proper engineering documentation as per company and industry standards.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies, materials, and engineering practices.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- B.E./B.Tech/M.Tech in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering.
- 5–10 years of experience in mechanical design & development.
- Mandatory experience in NPD/NPI for mass-produced products.
- Prior experience in Robotics, Consumer Electronics, Electronics Manufacturing, or Medical Devices preferred.
- Strong expertise in:
- Structural design & hand calculations
- 3D CAD modeling and manufacturing drawings
- FEM/FEA analysis
- DFMEA, DFM/DFA, material selection, and EBOM creation
- Proficiency in SolidWorks, Creo/Pro-E, Solid Edge, or equivalent CAD tools.
- Exposure to manufacturing processes, tooling, and production engineering.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Knowledge of IEC 60601 or similar compliance standards is a plus.
Why Join Miko?
- Opportunity to work on cutting-edge consumer robotics products.
- Exposure to end-to-end product development and manufacturing scale-up.
- Collaborative and innovation-driven engineering culture.
- High-impact role with strong ownership and growth opportunities.
