The Azure Fabric Technology team is hiring a Technical Program Manager II- Azure Fabric Technology with experience developing cutting-edge hardware platforms to deliver the latest Virtual Machine products. Success in this role requires a passion for working with a broad range of technical experts to drive high-visibility server hardware programs from concept to global scale. You will work directly with functions such as product management, hardware and software engineering, supply chain, finance and more to create clarity, drive requirements, find solutions and deliver impactful results.

Our server hardware platforms are the foundation of Azure, powering millions of workload instances for internal and external customers. This opportunity will allow you to grow your skills in hardware development, analyze and build multi-generational hardware roadmaps and influence senior leaders across multiple divisions to make the best data-driven decisions. Required Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 2+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 1+ year(s) of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.

Preferred /  Additional Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects
  • Bachelor's Degree AND 4+ years of experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience.
  • Prior experience working at a cloud-based company
  • Prior experience designing and/or building complex IT or distributed systems deployments
  • Familiarity with modern cloud infrastructure concepts and design techniques
  • Experience in all phases of hardware development (server, enterprise, consumer or other)


Technical Program Management IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $94,300 - $182,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $120,900 - $198,600 per year.
